Equipment Rentals

Equipment Rentals

You don’t have to have your own equipment to enjoy beautiful Lake Natoma.  Spend an afternoon on the water using Aquatic Center rental equipment, kayak, canoes and stand up paddle boards.   All equipment rentals are charged by an hourly rate and prorated to the nearest quarter hour. 

How to Rent:

All rentals are first come, first serve.

  • Must have completed a Sacramento State Aquatic Center class or private lesson and be checked out to rent the following equipment.

The Aquatic Center offers private instruction for one to two people.  Lessons can be done in personal rowing shells.

Capital Crew Youth Program

Capital Crew Youth  Program
 

Capital Crew is the Sacramento State Aquatic Center’s Youth Rowing program for high school students. Since 1988 to the present, Capital Crew has offered competitive rowing to all Sacramento area high school student athletes. Annually, the Aquatic Center’s youth rowing program attracts an average of over 150 participants. The team trains from mid-September to mid-May and competes against thirty two other junior rowing programs on the West Coast.

The Aquatic Center offers three options for Basic Sailing Beginning Sailing Courses, each using a different sailboat; the RS Zest, the RS Quest or the Holder 20 Keelboat.
