Heather attended California State University, Chico where she was a Recreation Administration major. Heather’s love of Aquatics started at an early age as she has been a competitive water skier since age of eight. At 17 she was ranked 16th in the world for the slalom event.
Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships (WIRA)

The Sacramento State Aquatic Center would like to welcome everyone to the WIRA championships. Below is information for teams, parents, guests and boosters. The WIRA championships will be held on Lake Natoma at the Nimbus Flat State Park. We are fortunate to have such an amazing venue and ask that everyone respect and follow state park rules and guidelines.

Sac State Women’s Crew
The Sacramento State women’s rowing program gained intercollegiate status at Sacramento State in 1995, and since that time has accounted for six conference championships. Rowing at Sacramento State provides female athletes with any rowing experience a rare opportunity to become a member of a varsity, NCAA Division 1 team.
