Matt grew up around the aquatic environment, swimming competitively and playing water polo from an early age. He became a California State Parks Lifeguard at the age of 16, where he worked at Folsom Lake, Lake Natoma, and Southern California beaches.

Welcome to Sacramento State! New students have the opportunity to go the new student and transfer student orientation and then come as a group to the  Aquatic Center for a fun filled night!  

Overview

Classes & Lessons during COVID

The Aquatic Center is exicted to announce that we have been approved for some classes. We still are unable to provide private lessons at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The Aquatic Center will be offering classes in sailing, kayaking and Stand Up Paddling.  We are not able to provide classes in rowing, windsurfing, canoeing, water ski/wakeboard or Jet Ski at this time.  Please see our COVID classes link below for more information on the class offerings.
