Aquatic Center Youth Programs
Every year 3,000 children receive personal instruction in a variety of boating activities at the Sac State Aquatic Center. A special use agreement can be arranged to suit the individual needs of groups who would like to plan a special activity at our facility. The cost for youth groups is $20 per participant. Grants are also available for "Kids at Risk," sponsored by the California Department of Boating and Waterways. Contact Cindi Dulgar to inquire about grants.

Special Needs Groups
And others
**Merit Badge Program
We Offer Instruction for the Following Merit Badges:
- Canoeing
- Motorboating
- Swimming
- Small Boat Sailing
- Waterskiing/wakeboarding
- Whitewater
- Rowing
Some of these badges are available through our summer camp programs on an individual basis. If you would like to schedule a troop certification with our instructors, please fill out a Youth Group Request form and fax it to our office at (916) 278-1105. Note: Before Instruction, we will need BSA blue cards filled out and the merit badges corresponding worksheet completed prior to going on the water for the practical potion of that merit badge.
