The Sacramento State University Collegiate Wake Board Club is for students who wish to improve or learn to wake board. The Wake Board Club practices behind a Super Air Nautique 210 on Folsom Lake 3 days a week. The Club placed 5th at the Collegiate Wake Board Nationals in Orlando, Florida in October 2006, and are looking to better their 2nd place finish last year at the College Sports Television Network Wake Board finals, which will be held in San Diego this April. The nationally competitive traveling team will be selected from members of the Wake Board Club. Club members may also travel and experience the thrill of collegiate wakeboarding.
