Every year, 3,000
children receive personal instruction in a variety of boating activities at the Sac State Aquatic Center. A special use agreement can be arranged to suit the individual needs of groups who would like to plan a special activity at our facility. The cost for youth groups is $20 per participant. Grants are also available for "Kids at Risk," sponsored by the California Department of Boating and Waterways. Contact Cindi Dulgar to inquire about grants.

Your camper will need this for Monday morning check-in, and without it your camper will not be elligible to participate in activities. Summer Camp Schedules
The Aquatic Center has been involved with youth programs for over 18 years and is recognized as the benchmark for boating safety. When
the first Summer Aquatic Camp was started, no one could have imagined the tremendous response. We will serve over 3,500 children and
teens this year in a variety of aquatic activities. The Youth Programs are for children between the ages of 7-17 and provide
instruction in: Sailing, Windsurfing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Wake Boarding, Water Skiing, Jet Skiing, Rowing, White Water Rafting,
Challenge Ropes Courses and Motorboat Safety.

Summer Youth Camps are for children 7-17 Activities for various camps include: Sailing, Windsurfing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Motorboat
Safety, Wake Boarding, Water Skiing, Jet Skiing, Rowing, White Water Raft Trip, and the Challenge Course.

If you are attending weeks 3,5,7, or 9 you can join us for the Thursday night camp out! Cost: $45.00 Meals and activities are
included in this fee!
Special notes:
- Basic Camp, Guppies Camp and Wake Board/Water Ski Camp offered all eleven weeks.
- Child must provide their own lunch, extra bottle water, and sunscreen.
- Children are required to wear a Personal Floatation Device (PFD) at all times!
Campers receive a T-shirt. It is recommended that parents drop off their children at the Aquatic Center at 8:00 AM. (Camp instruction
begins at 8:30 AM) Summer camp instruction ends at 3:30 PM. Parents are advised to pickup their children at 4:00 PM.

Water Safety and Health Requirements
Campers must be of sound health, with no specific ailments, injuries, or disabilities that would affect their ability to have
a safe experience. All campers must be "water safe!" All campers will be given a basic swimming test the first day of camp.
All campers will be issued PFD's (Personal Floatation Devices), instructed in their use, and are required to wear the vest at
all times when on or near the water.

Clothing and Supplies
Some additional clothing and supplies may be needed such as: rash guard, aquatic shoes, towel, water bottle, sun block,
sweatshirt, ice chest, and water ski gloves (for Water Ski Camp only). Bicycle helmets are needed on Wednesdays and Thursdays
for the Adventure and Paddle Camp. A complete list of supplies needed for day camp will be provide with the registration
confirmation packet.

Turn in your lunch money to the Check-out station by Wednesday.

Attending camp weeks 3, 5, 7 and 9? Join the Thursday night camp out! Only $45.00 per child. Fee includes meals and activities, evening paddle down the lake, s'mores and fun, fun, fun! Ask your counselor.
